Primary health care, nutrition, SGOA provides essential health and nutrition services in remote areas of Afghanistan where access to healthcare is limited. Our health programs focus on primary care, maternal and child health, nutrition, and health education.
Primary Health Care
SGOA supports health facilities with medical supplies, equipment, and trained health workers. We operate mobile health teams that reach communities in areas without permanent health infrastructure, providing basic health services and referrals.
Maternal & Child Health
Our maternal and child health programs include prenatal and postnatal care, skilled birth attendance, and immunization services. We train community midwives and health workers to support mothers and children in remote areas.
Nutrition Programs
SGOA addresses malnutrition through screening, treatment, and prevention programs. We operate supplementary feeding programs for malnourished children and conduct nutrition education for mothers and caregivers.

Teacher Training Program Expands Across Kabul
SGOA launches a new phase of teacher training to strengthen education quality in Kabul province. Over 500 educators will receive professional development in modern teaching methods, inclusive education practices, and student-centered learning approaches.

Literacy Program Reaches 2,000 Children in Kandahar
Community-based literacy centers established by SGOA are promoting inclusive education for crisis-affected children in Kandahar.The centers operate in remote areas where formal schooling remains limited.
Each center serves approximately 100 children aged 6-14, providing accelerated learning programs, basic literacy and numeracy skills, and psychosocial support. Over 2,000 children have enrolled across 20 centers since the program began.
